Located in the busy urban area of Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood, the thoughtful architecture of this Low Energy home provides intimate living quarters with a bonus rental suite. On the top floor, an exterior deck space, elegantly screened from the neighbouring high school, creates a ‘sanctuary in the sky’ to enjoy some sunlight within the confines of a courtyard. All transparent elements of the façade have been carefully designed to provide natural light and views without compromising the privacy of its inhabitants.
